Investment Group Announces Purchase Solor Products, Inc. Parent of United Research Publishers

CARLSBAD, California - November 1, 2003
Solor Products, Inc., a Carlsbad- based company, announced that 100% of its shares were acquired buy a group of private investors. The firm is a direct marketing company doing business as United Research Publishers (URP) and Vital Choice Products (VCP) and is based in Carlsbad, California.

Its URP group is a publisher of books and videos, marketing to adults who seek quality of life improvement in the areas of health, pain relief, diet, fitness and self-improvement. Its VCP group markets homeopathic supplements for relief of specific conditions including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), sciatica and tinnitus.

The President, Mr. Jay Boyd of Del Mar, CA, stated that "the company has been a highly successful direct response marketer for over 25 years. It has carved a unique niche, particularly in the area on self-help health books". He continued "what continues to impress us is the steady stream of testimonials from customers thanking us for the information we offer and the new hope that they have found. Nothing is more rewarding than that."

The company plans to make ongoing investments in two key areas for growth. Mr. Boyd commented "our immediate goal is to expand the company's channels to market as well as the range of products within the URP and VCP groups". Additionally, we have implemented our product strategy with four new books already in development; each promising our readers an effective means for understanding and addressing health and life-style issues facing adults, particularly baby-boomers and their parents".
